Finding Nemo Cake
What’s easy about this recipe is you just have to bake one yellow or white cake mix. A friend of mind that’s how she cheats with her cakes she sells. She uses Betty Crocker and instead of adding water…she adds buttermilk!
ChoppA get asks all the time about what size pan he uses to bake his cakes. He states he uses an A4 size of a sheet tin pan. After researching, I found an A4 paper which measures 8.3″ x 11.7″ (210mm x 297mm). Looks like the pan is at least 2 inches thick. Note: 12″ x 18″ pan makes a half sheet.
Not sure how many cups of cake batter you need for your pan…fill the pan with water 2/3 full. Measure how many cups of water it took to fill the pan. For a 12″ x 18″ pan, it will take 2 to 3 cake mixes depending on thickness.
ChoppA is using a rectangle base to slide his cake around as he is cutting (He leaves the cake on the same colored base).
