Got To Have A Standby Icing Recipe
The recipe reminds me of a caramel icing that you cook in an iron skillet. You caramelize the sugar standing over the stove for possibly an hour stirring constantly. I obtained my recipe from a wonderful friend who bakes everything from scratch. I got the exact recipe. Followed it to the letter….to this day, I still can’t get it to taste as good as hers.
My caramel icing tasted good…..just wasn’t hers.
This icing may take you more than one time to perfect it. But once you got it…..nothing is impossible to make. It is so worth the practice. Look at how gorgeous those cupcakes are.
